OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

Hi! I’m Lyndsay Schneidman, a dedicated Occupational Therapist, new to the field and thrilled to embark on this fulfilling journey. I have a Bachelor's of Commerce degree and a Master's in Occupational Therapy, both earned at McGill University. My distinctive background enables me to bring a unique blend of business acumen and therapeutic expertise to the table.

In my current role as a pediatric occupational therapist, I work across diverse populations, providing crucial support in school-based settings for pre-K, kindergarten, and elementary levels. Additionally, I am actively engaged in the healthcare environment at the Montreal Children's Hospital, contributing my expertise to specialized clinics such as the Developmental Clinic and the Neonatal Follow-Up Clinic. My commitment to promoting independence and overall well-being drives my efforts to create a holistic and supportive environment for the children I have the privilege to work with.

Fueled by a genuine love for fostering growth in children, I am also creative, patient, and empathetic – qualities that lay the foundation for tailoring interventions to suit each child's unique capabilities. I thrive on creating a nurturing environment, where every step forward is a celebration of progress. I look forward to meeting your little ones to assist them in reaching their potential, facilitate their transitions into the classroom and promote their overall holistic well-being!

I am a member of the Ordre des Ergothérapeutes du Québec (OEQ).
